ELEONORA SEVENARD

BALLET DANCER

Eleonora Sevenard - principal dancer at Bolshoi Theatre. Born in Saint Petersburg. In 2017 graduated from Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet and joined the Bolshoi Ballet. While studying she appeared in the performances of the Mariinsky Theatre, participated in Vaganova Academy’s tour to Lithuania and Japan. In 2017, took part in Russian Ballet Icons Gala in London (London Coliseum), Gala des Écoles de Danse du XXIe Siècle (Schools’ Gala) at the Palais Garnierin Paris, and Charity Gala of La Scala Academy in Milan.

In 2021, she was promoted to the leading soloist, in 2023 — to the principal dancer. Since then, Sevenard has gone on to dance a wide variety of leading roles in the Bolshoi's classical and contemporary repertoire. 

Some of her notable roles include: Odette/Odile in "Swan Lake”; Giselle in "Giselle"; Nikiya in "La 
Bayadère"; Marguerite in "The Master and Margarita"; Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet"; Medora in "Le Corsaire"
Eleonora has received numerous accolades for her dancing, including: The Benois de la Danse prize (2019); The Moscow Mayor's Prize (2020); The Golden Mask national theater award (2021)

She is considered one of the most promising young dancers of her generation and is widely regarded as a future star of the Bolshoi Ballet.
